DAY 1 - 5:15PM - Andes Mountains Peru

THE THOUGHTS I THINK TOWARD YOU ARE THOUGHTS OF PEACE AND NOT OF EVIL, TO GIVE YOU A FUTURE AND AN EXPECTED END.
This morning as we all woke up early and prayed individually, we then came together ate breakfast and prayed as a group together for a while. We all knew that today we were going to minister on the streets but were listening to the Father's thoughts and heart toward individual people He wanted to touch today. While on the streets we all found the exact people the Lord showed us before we left the room. 

The stories and pictures you will see in the future are real testimonies of people’s lives touched by the love of Jesus. The whole team was filled with Joy and cried many tears as Jesus reached through their lives and changed others forever.

September 1, 2013

 

We spent most of the day with the Quecha of the Andes Mountains of Peru which is located about 13,175 ft in elevation. Angela and Jennifer where able to minister to the children for a short time and share the Father’s love with them. There was a young boy brought to us who was running a high fever and was too sick to walk. His mother carried him in for us to pray for healing for him. Shortly after we prayed for him, the fever left and the child was up and walking about.

September 3, 2013

 

Today we had planned to do some more street ministry after group prayer at Jennifer Smith's house. Jennifer pulled a muscle in her lower back early in the morning and was in a lot of pain and she was barely able to walk. As we gathered to pray and fellowship together, the power of the Holy Spirit fell upon the room and joy broke out all around the room. 

Then Angela, being filled with the Holy Spirit, spoke healing over Jennifer’s back and instantly all the pain left her body. Jennifer got up and began walking around and was able to eat. As we shared Jesus with each other, the joy of the Lord grew stronger and without anyone noticing it, four hours passed by. Then we went to eat a late lunch and gave some money to 2 poor children on the street after praying for them. We are now about to gather some more missionaries and pray and worship Jesus together. Tomorrow we will begin large outreaches into the mountains of Peru to reach the harvest.

September 4, 2013

 

We are finishing up packing and praying for today’s outreach to the Andes Mountains of Peru. The village we will be ministering to is called Pucamarca. This is where the Quecha exist which are an almost completely unreached people group. Angela Boswell Lingerfelt and Jennifer Marie Smith, will be ministering to the children tonight and Mike Bafile, Eric Lovin, and myself will be sharing the gospel.

We will be working in the community all day and tonight we will hold a service in a government building. We will be ministering to all who come to hear the gospel. Please be in prayer for us and the team. Phillip Kingry Jr and Byron Stafford have gotten sick and need your prayers for Jesus' healing touch. Last night we fellowshipped with US missionaries here in Peru and the Holy Spirit fell.  Three hours went by like 3 minutes and there were about 12 believers present. The Word of encouragement was flowing and all were encouraged and edified.

Last night we ministered in a village in the Andes mountains of Peru called Pucamarca where the Quecha people live. They are an almost completely unreached people group living way in the Andes Mountains of Peru. They speak Quecha not Spanish. Some of the ministry done last night was translated in 3 different languages. Mike Bafile, Eric Lovin, and I preached the Word of Jesus’ Love to the adults gathered together. Angela Boswell Lingerfelt and Jennifer Marie Smith shared the gospel with the children . The ministry was awesome as the adults where encouraged and given a clear message of Jesus Love for them. Angela and Jennifer shared the gospel with 35 children, 10 of which accepted Jesus Love for the first time and gave testimony of Jesus coming into their hearts as their Lord. Tonight we will be ministering in a different Quecha village where we will be sharing the Jesus film and preaching the Gospel. It will be awesome to get to love on these people another day. Jesus loves the Quecha of the Andes Mountains and so do we. Please be in prayer for the team and the Harvest of Souls this week and weekend. Thanks to all of you who Pray and give to make it possible for the nations to hear the message of Jesus’ Love for them.

Last night we ministered in a Quecha village in the Andes Mountains of Peru called Racchi. We gathered together in the basement room of a house with somewhere between 25-30 believers from the village. We worshiped with the Quecha believers for about an hour. We then shared the Gospel with the believers assembled there. Mike Bafile, Angela Boswell Lingerfelt, Byron Stafford, Phillip Kingry Jr (aka Cowboy), Eric Lovin, Jennifer Marie Smith, and I all took turns sharing the Gospel and encouraging the Quecha believers. Most of the Word of God was read in 3 different Languages; English, Spanish, and Quecha. The gathering lasted way into the night and it was very cold. Check Facebook for pictures and clips of the preaching in Racchi. We also gave a toy to all the children present, some of which do not have 1 toy at all. Please pray for the team and the harvest of souls that are to come into the Kingdom of God tonight. Tonight, we will be doing a blanket and toy outreach in an area where there is no known witness of Jesus. We will be showing the Jesus Film and preaching the gospel of Jesus Love. The village is a Quecha village and most have no heat so blankets is what Love looks like to the Quecha people. Thanks to all of you who give to help make this possible for the nations to hear of Jesus Love for them.

I have added some pictures that were taken in a village called Peqakachu which is located deep in the Andes Mountains of Peru. We did an outreach on Day 9 of our trip to reach the Quecha which is a remote unreached people group in the Andes Mountains. We did a blanket outreach to show Jesus’ love in action by way of giving blankets since it stays very cold there in the Andes Mountains. We also gave toys to all the Quecha children of that village which have, for the most part, never owned a toy of their own to play with. Eric Lovin, Phillip Kingry Jr (aka cowboy), and myself preached the word of Jesus’ love for the Quecha people to hear. This particular village had only had one other contact with the gospel before our visit. Some of the villagers had never head the gospel before last night’s outreach. There were two men who accepted Jesus’ love for them and became born again at last night’s outreach. There were between 35-45 people who stayed out in the cold temperature, which were somewhere around freezing, for four hours to heat the gospel preached.

THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW THEIR GOD SHALL BE STRONG AND DO GREAT EXPLOITS 

Yesterday we went to the school where Jennifer Marie Smith teaches English called Promesa. Angela Lingerfelt , Mike Bafile, Byron Stafford, Eric Lovin, Jennifer Smith, Phillip Kingry Jr aka Cowboy, and me all shared the gospel in English while Jennifer translated it into Spanish for the class. We prayed with the children and several students gave their hearts to Jesus. We also passed out Bibles and toys to all the children in Jennifer’s class. Jennifer taught the children the meaning behind the salvation bracelets that were handed out. We went yesterday to share the gospel in a different Quecha village in the Andes mountains where there is no church or gathering of believers. On the way there we encountered sleet and snow and had to postpone our visit. We ended up spending the evening praying and encouraging Pastor Ciriaco who is the pastor of the Quecha village we previously visited and is our translator for the Quecha language when we do village outreaches. Today, three of our team headed back home to the United States.  Angela and I are staying an additional four days hoping to do another outreach in the WeWe village where the snow had stopped us earlier. We will also minister to a fellowship in Pucamarca on Wednesday night as well as feed the children in an orphanage later this week. Please pray for the harvest of souls as we share the gospel this Friday in Wewe village. We will be gathering with a group of fifteen missionaries for prayer and worship tonight.

THE VOICE OF JOY AND THE VOICE OF GLADNESS THE VOICE OF THOSE WHO WILL SAY PRAISE THE LORD OF HOST FOR HE IS GOOD AND HIS MERCY ENDURES FOR EVER .

Yesterday we delivered toys donated by our partners to a local orphanage that takes care of special needs children. While we were there we had the opportunity to pray with some of the children at the orphanage. Yesterday evening we went to a new Quechua village called WEUWEU located deep in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Up to yesterday there was no established church or gathering of believers. Eric Lovin, Angela, Jennifer, and myself began feeding the children bread and yogurt. After about 15 min. there were 22 kids and 6 adults other than us eating in the village. Angela began sharing the Word of God and the Love of Jesus while Eric translated the message. I also preached the Cross and Jesus Love for the Quechua people. I gave an invitation for anyone who wanted to accept Jesus as Savior to please step forward. I was amazed as all the children and 4 adults stepped forward. Jennifer led them in a prayer to make Jesus Lord and Savior of their heart and life. We then gave a bible to everyone that accepted Jesus as well as toys to all the children that where there. I am still amazed at the harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God. Angela and I have just begun the 28 hr trip back to the USA. We will be going from Cusco to Lima to Mexico to Atlanta, GA.
